The short version: talk like you're sharing a fire with
people you'll see again.
- No name-calling, bullying, or harassment. Argue with the idea
all day; leave the person alone.
- No hate. Nothing against people for who they are.
Zero tolerance, no warnings.
- Respect the claim. Never post someone else's spot,
coordinates, claim location, or personal information — theirs to
share, not yours. (Your own spots: share at your own risk; the
internet never forgets.)
- Keep it legal. No organizing trespass, no
dredging-where-banned advice, nothing that puts a member on the wrong
side of a ranger.
- No spam or drive-by selling. Gear talk is welcome;
unsolicited promotion isn't. (A real marketplace is coming — this
isn't it yet.)
- Campfire language. Rough edges are fine; filth aimed at
people isn't. If you wouldn't say it at a club meeting, don't
post it.
Posts are reviewed automatically before they land — a post that trips a
rule tells you which one, and you can fix it and repost on the
spot. Every post carries a report link. Repeated or serious violations
can cost posting rights or membership; rule 2 can cost it on the
first try.
