STEP 1

Click your spot, hit "Pin this spot"

Say you've got a bend in the creek you like. Click it — the ground read opens, and at the foot of it sits 📍 Pin this spot.

STEP 2

Name it, say something about it — or don't

Give the spot a name if you want, and drop a first note in while it's fresh — what the ground looked like, what you'd try. Both are optional. And it says so right on the card: your pins are private — nobody sees them but you.

The pin drops either way

Skip the name, skip the note, hit Skip — just drop the pin — and the pin still lands right where you clicked. The words can come later.

Every pin wears its story on its head

Red means you're interested — still researching. Blue means it's planned — this season's list. Violet means you've been there. And when a spot produces… it gets the ★ gold star.

Move a spot along — it asks you one question

Open a pin and tap its new status. Every move asks exactly one question: What's the plan? How'd it go? What did it produce? Answer in a line or two — that's your journal, writing itself while you work.

STEP 6

Every spot you've pinned, grouped by where it stands in the story, with filter chips to pull up just this season's list or just the producers.
